Pandora

She is easily the smartest dog I have ever own, her intelligence and ability to observe, learn and offer behaviours blew my mind since day one. From the start I decided not to use any luring with her, rather capturing and rewarding good choices.

Seeing she learned faster I could teach, I decided to take things very slow with her, training wise, and take lots of long breaks in between active training periods (from week to couple weeks training and then up to few months of break).

She is currently happily enjoying her better part of "teenager phase", and I have started training with her more intensely now again.

Aside from great trainability, she is confident dog from the start (with stranger dogs, people, new situations, sounds and sights). Has good ON/OFF button, good drive and great focus. Active and willing, but not crazy and knows how to relax on her own.

Very cuddly, loyal and super loving.

Fitness & physical training

Targeted fitness training is something I do not practice with puppies, due to the development of the body. At the early stages of life, her activity was mostly limited to obedience training, walking, playing and some basic "climbing" on obstacles.

As Pandora is matured, she has been involved in bike rides. We are starting longer hikes, as well as learning more challenging complex skills like parkour and teaching her to love water.

As all of my dogs, Pandora started her obedience training right from the start. We built a strong foundation with her in just matter of weeks, using shaping . She has had lots of breaks in her training (months), but now starting to build up from the foundation. She has the potential to be a great competition sport dog with her balanced mind, good learning ability and healthy drive, but at this point, that is not where I aim with her.

Her official protection work has not started, but she has the basis of drive build and evaluation.

Pandora has natural stable drive. Good chase & catch, calm & full grip with good potential for bitework.

She is very confident and friendly with new people and dogs. Very observant and aware, can distinguish situations well where alert and extra attention is needed. Switch from happy-puppy to working mode and back is fast and efficent.
